Advent is the season of the church year during which we prepare our lives—our hearts, minds, and spirits—for the coming of the Christ child. Advent begins on Sunday, Decem- ber 2. During these weeks before Christmas, we’re invited to prepare our hearts, minds, and spirits for the coming of the Christ child.
